Color-treated Happy Napps?

For the past two months or so I've been trying to maintain a protective style regimen. There are two main reasons for this: one is because of what I call the "awkward" phase/length that my hair is at. The other is because I am planing on making a drastic change that will affect the state and possible health of my hair. Color.  Yes, I'm going to take that plunge and jump into that daring feat of being a color treated natural.

I really think the idea of having color treated hair as a natural, should not have to be and really isn't as scary and "damaging" as people make it out to be.

Honestly, I believe if you do your research (as any one considering coloring their hair should), and dedicate yourself to taking extra care of your hair, you will discover that the label of having colored  treated hair is just that: a label.

Since rocking my famous Rihanna red sew in a few months back, I had been toying with tte idea of going a deep burgundy red. Well, after committing to a color and actually making a purchase, all that was left for me to decide on was when to do the deed. That is where I am now.

I'm doing another protective style this weekend for the next month, and after I take it
down, I'll make that change and hopefully the next time you see these happy napps, they will be a dazzling red! Wish me luck.
