NYX Ultra Pearl Mania Shadows Steal the Show!



If you a looking for a shadow guaranteed to show up and show out, look no further. The NYX Ultra Pearl Mania shadows have arrived and ladies, they are taking no prisoners!

I had the pleasure of bringing few of these super pigmented beauties home with me, after discovering them at my local beauty supply store. Orange Zest Pearl, Yellow Gold Pearl, and Jade Pearl.

I first tried out the Jade Pearl and was blown away by the awesome power packed color it held. Now I am no stranger to color (I can't with my owning a 120 color eyeshadow palette and all), however this color proved to be far more pigmented and bright than I expected. I actually ended up blending it out a bit with a matte white from my palette, to bring it down a level.

The Yellow Gold Pearl shadow was the next color I experimented with. I used this color as my over all lid color and used a bold shimmery blue shadow for  the cut crease. Again the NYX shadow was Ultra brillant! Luminescent even!

Using the first two shadows, I initially applied a primer as usual and a white base. However based on the automatic pop the colors, I don't believe a white base is necessary.

So yesterday I finally opened the Orange Zest Pearl shadow from the NYX Ultra Pearl Mania line and was pleasantly surprised to see how soft and peachy the shadow was. It was not at all a shocker to my eyes (lol) but brought a sparkly soft touch to my face. I used it as my all over eyelid color, and in my creases applied a deep brown from my Manly 120 palette. My primer and black creme eyeliner were from E.L.F., one of my go-to makeup lines, MAC paint pots in Groundwork was my bases and my mascara was with done with  NYC curling mascara.


I give two thumbs up, and can't wait to break into the rest of the line, and try more of the everyday wear colors. I know that I can expect some of the same superb pigmented color!
